Punjab government have recently sent the approval of notification which was initially lodged on 4 January 2017. All academic institutions and libraries within Punjab are instructed to include the 'Dastan-E-Hayat' of PM Nawaz Sharif in their curriculum and stock. This is the first time in the history that a Prime Minister wants people to know about him by following academic curriculum and forcing people and specially children to read his Biography whos primary reason may be to introduce the Nawaz Sharif as the legendary person in Pakistani history.Below is the attached notification on approval of books for academic and public libraries in the province :
So at the end, it would not be wise to say that Punjab government is also following the typical policy of Pakistani politicians who consider all institutions as their own property. There is no sense at all to include books about any politician who has not done anything worth appreciating for Pakistan apart from being Prime minister for three times and doing nothing.
